Happy Labor Day Weekend!! We just have a few reminders for you...

The Entertainment Book sale runs from August 29 - September 14. Only $30. If you are not sure you want a book, please fill out this  "permission" form and we will send a book home with your child. If you choose to keep it, just send in a check payable to the PTO. If you already know you want a book simply send in a check with your child, and we will get the book back to you. Every book sold will get an entry in a drawing for 4 available $25 gift cards. Plus, other prizes are available for multiple sales. Click here for more information on the sale

The PTO has a new fundraiser this year called the Checkbook. Priced at $30, the checkbook includes 'checks' for many LOCAL businesses. Some of the more popular businesses include: Wildfire ($20 redemption check), eSkape ($25), Big Bowl ($10), Walker Brothers ($10) and many more. Get in the Twin Groves spirit!  If you haven’t had a chance to order spirit wear, it is not too late.  We will be extending the spirit wear sale through September 14.  Items are pictured on the order form, which is posted on the website.  Samples of different sizes are available in the office as well. Dear Twin Groves Families,

Welcome back to school!  It was great seeing so many friendly faces at Locker Set Up Day. We really appreciate the help from all our volunteers.   

Thank you to Wendy Friedman and Dana Friedman for organizing the School Kitz, Elisa Nusinow and Wendy Wunsch for running our school store, Sandy McArthy and Kim Dempsey for handling gym uniforms, Chris Eng for starting off our new checkbook fundraiser, and our Special Lunch (Linda Kull, Ellen DeLay, Marci Sussman, and Janet Ventrella) and Dessert Day (Karyn Gitler, Jane Oh, Wendy Wunsch, and Julie Bloom) chairpersons for planning a year of treats for our students.

Thanks also to the Hospitality Committee, Michelle Mottlowitz and Sumana Posa, for preparing a wonderful brunch for the Twin Groves Staff on Tuesday. 

If you didn’t have a chance to purchase a Check book, or order Spirit Wear, Special Lunch, or Dessert Day, it’s not too late!  Select the links above or you can find the order forms on the Twin Groves website PTO Website - just send your order to school with your child. The first Dessert Day and Special Lunch is soon. Those order forms are due next week on 8/30/12.

Entertainment books go on sale next week.  The book will not come home with your child as it has in past years. Instead, books can be ordered.  Books are available to preview, and your child can check one out in the office if you'd like.  In addition, students can earn incentives for selling books.  For more information check out the explanation here  and the permission form here.

PTO Volunteer opportunities

School starts in two short weeks. We hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer vacation. We are gearing up, raring to go and looking forward to seeing all of you soon. In the meantime here's some updates for you.

Locker Set Up Day is on Tuesday August 21, from 4-7pm.  

During Locker Set Up Day, you can:

•  Pick up you PTO calendar
•  Pick up pre-purchased school supply kits
•  Visit the school store to purchase locker shelves and other miscellaneous school supplies (calculators, clay pots, skittles, etc.)
•  Purchase gym uniforms and locks
•  Order Spirit Wear
•  Turn in Special Lunch and Dessert Day forms
•  Purchase the new checkbook full of coupons for local businesses
•  Preview the 2012-13 Entertainment books
