Happy Labor Day Weekend!! We have a few reminders for you...


Our Checkbook Fundraiser is back this year with lots of great coupons from local vendors. These make great gifts!  If you didn’t get one at Locker Set-up, we still have some left.  Simply send in a check for $35 made out to Twin Groves PTO in an envelope marked “Checkbook”  with your student’s name, and it will be sent home with your child.  For more information and the complete list of vendors Click here.

Magazine Sales will be kicking off on September 12th, but it is not too early to start ordering magazines to support Twin Groves!  This fundraiser allows us to do extra things for our school, and there are incentives for the students who sell subscriptions.  This year there will be extra incentives for people who order subscriptions on-line.  To order directly, just click on this Link, or you can go to www.gaschoolstore.com and order through the account number provided (# 2537538).   For more information Click here.

Attention frozen yogurt lovers:  Our first Community Fundraiser will be Thursday, September 19th at Red Mango from 2 - 8 pm!  Twin Groves will receive 15% of the proceeds.  Please come out and support our school.

DEAR TWIN GROVES FAMILIES,


Welcome back to school!  It was great seeing so many friendly faces at Locker Set Up Day. We really appreciate the help from all our volunteers!   

Thank you to Wendy Friedman and Dana Friedman for organizing the School Kitz, Tracey Wright and Wendy Wunsch for running our school store, Sandy McArthy, Kim Dempsey, and Susie Sokol for handling gym uniforms, Elisa Nusinow for starting off our checkbook fundraiser, and our Special Lunch (Linda Kull, Ellen DeLay, Janet Ventrella, and Maria Papageorgiou) and Dessert Day (Karyn Gitler, Jane Oh, Wendy Wunsch, and Julie Bloom) chairpersons for planning a year of treats for our students.
Thanks also to the Hospitality Committee, Michelle Mottlowitz and Tracey Wright, for preparing a wonderful breakfast for the Twin Groves Staff on Tuesday.

The first Dessert Day and Special Lunch is soon. Those order forms are due next week (Special Lunch on 8/29/13 and Dessert Day on 8/30/13).

School starts in two short weeks. We hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer vacation. We are gearing up, raring to go and looking forward to seeing all of you soon. In the meantime here's some updates for you.

Locker Set Up Day is on Tuesday August 20, from 4-7pm.  

During Locker Set Up Day, you can:
  •  Pick up your PTO calendar
  •  Pick up pre-purchased school supply kits
  •  Visit the school store to purchase locker shelves and other miscellaneous school supplies (calculators, clay pots, skittles, etc.)
  •  Purchase gym uniforms and locks
  •  Turn in Special Lunch and Dessert Day forms
  •  Purchase the "checkbook" full of coupons for local businesses
  •  Sign up for the D96 Dash
