Winter Bash II was a blast! Almost half the school enjoyed our very own Twin Groves alumni DJ - Ross Bessinger and his staff who kept the joint jumping. They bounced in the bouncie house and slid down the slides. They played dodge ball, volley ball and basketball. They enjoyed treats from the parent donations and slurped snow cones. One lucky winner went home with a new iTouch and another won the iPad thanks to very generous donations. We heard many compliments from our students. We would like to thank our Winter Bash Chairs - Sandy McArthy, Nancy Swidler, Jim Driscoll and Mythyly Putcha. We couldn't do what we do without the tremendous efforts of our parent volunteers. We will report on the donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital after we tally our results.
Mark your calendar for Sat., Feb. 16th, noon–8 p.m. Plan with neighbors and friends to enjoy Wiener Take All for lunch or dinner. ALL District 96 PTOs will benefit equally, sharing 10% of total sales for this terrific community event. Dine in or carry out – NO flyer needed. Weiner Take All is at 1117 Weiland Rd., Buffalo Grove.
Attention 6th and 7th Grade Parents ... it's time to start thinking about next year! School supply kit order forms for our incoming 7th and 8th graders will be available within the next 2 weeks. This year, ordering can take place either online or with a paper order form that can be returned to the office. Watch for more information in upcoming newsletters and on your school website. We are looking ahead to the next school year and trying to fill open positions in our PTO.
