The Winter Bash was a blast! Close to 200 students enjoyed our very own Twin Groves alumni DJ - Ross Bessinger and his staff who kept the joint jumping. They bounced in the bounce house and slid down the slides. They played dodge ball and basketball. They enjoyed treats donated by parents and slurped snow cones. There were many prizes raffled off, and two lucky winners went home with gift certificates to overnight camp thanks to some generous donations. We heard many compliments from our students. We would like to thank our Winter Bash Chairs - Sandy McArthy, Nancy Swidler, Jim Driscoll and Julie Botten for all their efforts! A big thanks to all the volunteers who donated refreshments and/or their time to help. More than 100 cans of food were collected in our food drive and will be delivered to the Vernon Township Food Pantry. We will report on the donation to The American Cancer Society after we tally our results.
Special Lunch is this Wednesday, February 19! We are serving Culvers.
Special Lunch Date Change! The April Special Lunch date has been changed to 4/9. This was to avoid any overlap with Passover. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
Potbelly FundraiserOur next community fundraiser will be on Monday, February 24th, from 5pm - 8pm. Potbelly in Wheeling is generously donating 25% of sales to Twin Groves that night! What a great excuse to eat out with your family and friends. Spread the word!
School Supply Kits for the 2014-15 school year will be available for pre-order starting February 21st. Orders submitted with paper forms are not subject to sales tax, and are due no later than March 20. Online orders will be accepted through 3/28, but sales tax will be added. See next week's blog for the flyer.
District 96 Wiener Take All Fundraiser: Saturday, March 15th, noon to 8 pm, Wiener Take All will be donating 10% of all sales to the Willow Grove PTO. Click HERE for the flyer.
