Hey Twin Groves!  Next week is packed with events and activities!  We hope to see you at the District fundraiser at Wiener Take All tomorrow, the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament afterschool on Monday, and the Book Fair and Bake Sale during conferences. If you are ordering school supplies for next year, the deadline for paper order forms is next Thursday, 3/20.

The Book Fair is Here!
You can find the Book Fair in the Learning Center. Our book fair hours are:
  • Friday, March 14th is preview day, 7:30 a.m. -  2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, March 17th during school, 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and then during conferences, 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 18th during conferences, 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Book Fair Raffle -  Have your students read the book "Divergent"?  The movie comes out in theaters on March 21st!  Every student that purchases a book (any book) will be entered into a raffle to win movie tickets, so they can see Divergent.  Three lucky winners (one per grade level) will receive 2 movie tickets!

On-line Book Fair - Can't make it into the book fair? Need suggestions for the family on what to buy your middle schooler? You can also check out our book fair online. Here's the link for our book fair homepage and on-line fair.  This link is active from March 9 through March 29. Your order will be delivered to the school and come home with your student.

The Bake Sale will be open during conferences on 3/17 and 3/18
Mmmm... check out the tempting baked creations from our talented Twin Groves Community. We will be selling mouth-watering baked creations during the parent teacher conference times. Stop in and browse the book fair and get a snack to enjoy while you are waiting for your conference.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament 
For the first time, the Twin Grove PTO will be assisting staff with a fundraiser for the Athletic Department.  This 3 on 3 Basketball tournament will be on March 17 from 1:30 - 4:45.  To get a copy of the tournament rules, you can go to the Twin Groves Virtual Backpack. Some prizes for the top teams include tickets to the Chicago Sky WNBA game, the Schaumburg Boomers baseball team, and more.  Proceeds from the tournament will help to purchase equipment for the Athletic Department. Come cheer on the contestants, and stay for the Book Fair and Bake Sale!

School Supply Kits 
School supply kit orders for the 2014-2015 school year are due THURSDAY, MARCH 20TH when sending in a check.  Please mark the envelope School Supply Kits and make the check payable to Twin Groves PTO.  The deadline for online orders is FRIDAY, MARCH 28TH (on-line orders will include sales tax).   The kits will be distributed at Locker Set-up Day in August.  For any questions, please contact Elisa Nusinow,enusinow@comcast.net or Vandana Kandurivkanduri@aol.com. To the Parents of Incoming Stevenson High School Freshmen:
The Stevenson Patriot Parent Association (PPA) is in the process of building its Exec Board and Committee Chair People for the 2014-2015 school year. Getting involved with the PPA is a great way for you to get involved at Stevenson, especially as a freshman parent.

District 96 Wiener Take All Fundraiser:  Saturday, March 15th, noon to 8 pm, Wiener Take All will be donating 10% of all sales to the Willow Grove PTO.  Click HERE for the flyer.

Go Roma Fundraiser:   Come out to Go Roma in Lincolnshire for our next community fundraiser on April 8th, from 11am to 9pm.  They are donating 20% of the proceeds to Twin!  Bring in the flyer (Click Here) or mention Twin Groves when ordering.

Special Lunch Date Change!  The April Special Lunch date has been changed to 4/9. This was to avoid any overlap with Passover.  Please mark your calendars accordingly.

8th Grade T-shirts!
Do you have an 8th grader?  You can order them a Stevenson Class of 2018 T-shirt for just $5 ($7 for 2X and 3X)!  Orders are due April 11th.  Get your order form HERE.
