NOTE: There has been a change to the Special Lunch schedule in April due to the Passover holiday. Special Lunch will be served on April 9th (not 4/16).
Magazine Sales first official turn-in is next Thursday! We hope your children are busy selling magazine subscriptions and renewals. This fundraiser allows us to do extra things for our school, and there are incentives for the students who participate. This year there will be extra incentives when subscriptions are ordered on-line. Calling all runners!! It's time to register for the third annual District 96 Dash. This event is great for the whole family (walkers and strollers are welcome too). The Dash will take place on October 6th. Starting time is 8:30 am, but you can pick up your packet and t-shirt starting at 7:30 am. This popular fundraiser will support the District 96 Kids in Need Fund. Registration fees are $20/runner or $60 for a family of 4 or more. Select the link here to register.
We still have some checkbooks left from our Checkbook Fundraiser. These make great gifts! Simply send in a check for $35 made out to Twin Groves PTO in an envelope marked “Checkbook” with your student’s name, and it will be sent home with your child. Box Tops for Education Did you know that Twin Groves collects Box Tops for Education? There is a collection box in the office, so you can send them in anytime.
Your PTO Dollars at work...
The purpose of the PTO is to "promote and support the educational, academic, community, and social activities of Twin Groves Middle School and School District 96." Through fundraising efforts, the PTO is able to purchase items for the school. Over the summer, Twin Groves had 3 new drinking fountains installed courtesy of the PTO. You may have noticed them during Locker Set-up day or Curriculum Night. These drinking fountains are designed to refill water bottles, so they probably got a lot of use with all the hot days this week!
